Strong Roots is built around a simple idea: strong everyday habits come first. Food, movement, rest, hydration, and care from your own clinician matter most. Supplements can be a thoughtful addition when they fit your needs.
A thoughtful, not one-size-fits-all approach
We curate familiar essentials—protein, hydration, a daily multivitamin, and omega-3s—because they are practical categories many adults recognize. We do not believe supplements replace balanced meals, medical care, or individualized advice.
What a physician survey found
A peer-reviewed 2011 Nutrition Journal report presented results from a 2008 online survey of 900 physicians: 300 cardiologists, 300 dermatologists, and 300 orthopedists. In that survey, 57% of cardiologists, 75% of dermatologists, and 73% of orthopedists reported using supplements at least occasionally.
Multivitamins were the most commonly reported product, and more than one-quarter of physicians in each specialty reported using omega-3 fatty acids.
How to read that finding
This was a survey of reported habits; it does not prove that any supplement prevents, treats, or cures disease, and it does not mean every product is right for every person. The study was funded by the Council for Responsible Nutrition, a dietary-supplement trade association. We share it as context—not as a medical recommendation.
Your health comes first
Please check with your physician or pharmacist before starting a new supplement, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a medical condition, or taking prescription medication.
